is looking for a diligent, detail-oriented multitasker to join our purchasing department! In this role you will be responsible for receiving and inventory control and management for our ingredients and other raw materials and supplies.
You will ensure the accuracy of incoming vendor paperwork and items, make sure our internal tracking stickers are correctly applied, and rotate raw materials in the plant as necessary.
This position includes taking weekly inventories and communicating any discrepancies to our operations team and others on the purchasing team.
This position requires about 85% of the time in the plant in refrigerated (below 40 degrees) temperatures.
Specific Job Duties May Include:
Work directly with purchasing, production, and shipping/receiving departments to provide accurate on-hand inventory and in-transit inventory Checks inbounds products and receiving paperwork for accuracy and uploads receiving documents Ensures accurate labeling of raw materials for production Does raw material requisition for the next day with the plant manager Coordinates with office and purchasing assistant to track deductions on shorted/damaged inbound raw materials Maintain inventory accuracy within ERP system during weekly inventory cycle counts and reconcile as needed Maintain and order plant supplies as needed Tracking and preparing samples to existing and prospective customers All other duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
Must be willing to learn to operate a forklift and pallet jack with training The ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Strong organizational skills The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment Good communication skills, written and verbal Strong attention to detail A can-do, positive attitude Position starts at $25/hr.

30am to 3pm plus overtime M-F Benefits include:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
